I'm 33 yrs old, and have been having left side pain for 2 years, the have ran the c.t. dye scans and all the say is I do have some diverticulli. I just visited a gastroenteroloigist for the first time today. I have a month before my colonoscopy apt. My bowel movements change every few hours, from constipation to mucous diareha, sometimes there is blood sometimes there isn't, my foods not digesting, and thats with avoiding a bunch of differnt foods. I have severe pain that doubles me over, cramping and abdominal swelling on a daily basis. I shake constantly, am paler than normal, and always feel exhausted, does anyone have any hints to help ease the pain or other symptoms while I await my lower G.I ?

from what you're describing,sounds like crohan's disease,with the mucus in your stool,this is an ibs which could also give some of the symtoms that you are having.have been have bad problems with stomach and have been reading on a lot of stomach situations.your fatige and weakness is coming from the blood loss,(anemia)and some supplements can help you some on that.hope everything works out for you.
