While having sex I noticed swelling just below the head of my penis. It now looks like a donut of swelling wrapped all the way around. Any idea what I did and how to speed up the healing process? Also, I am circumcised. Thanks.

I have had this same problem for that past few days. Did you ever discover what the cause was? Did it just go away or did you need treatment?

I have done a number of web searches about something like this. I don't know if this is a factor (probably is), but about eight years ago my penis was ' broken' during sex.Through the past year or two I have had progressive problems with getting an erection and then keeping it; not losing it up to several times during sex.Very frustrating for me and my wife.
The first of this year I noticed a puffy bump between the dark circumcision ring and the shallower ring below the glans.There is are two hard knots in that bump, and then a cord-like line going 1/3 to 1/2 around on the dark ring.I can push the knots back in, but they don't stay for very long. Does this sound familiar?
I haven't seen a Dr. about it yet, but to me it resembles a hernia, with a blood vessel instead of a loop of organ.It has really had me concerned.Have you found a diagnosis, or has anyone else had a similar condition? Best of luck to you-

Do a search on this site for thrombosis of penile vein, and/or thrombosis of lymphatic vessel.Those are the closest descriptions I've found yet for me.

Third week of Feb., and the swelling is going down almost as fast as it appeared.From what I read of Thrombosis, this is the way they commonly act. So, hoping a sigh of relief for everyone.
