I started smoking at 16 and finally quit at 49. I calculated the number of cigarettes smoked to be ~400,000 give or take. That’s a lot of smoking and as a result, I now have moderately severe COPD [chronic obstructive pulmonary disease]. I have emphysema and I have difficulty breathing.
