melanoma

How can Melanoma be in kidneys and lungs without being dectected in the blood stream? Also any info about a new drug that can be given along with the chemo This drug is supposed to build up the immune system and also fight the cancer cells?

It is impossible to detect single cell metastasis in the blood stream. However, as these cells come to rest in organs and grow they become visible to our imaging studies. I, unfortunately, do not know of the drug which you refer to. Thank you for using oncologychannel and good luck.
