Re: Calcification in BCCBCC refers to basal cell cancer. The presence of calcifications means that small calcium deposits were found with the specimen and from my experience is of no prognostic consequence. Assuming the entire tumor was removed with clear margins I would suggest speaking with the physician regarding the need for any other therapy (like radiation). Thank you for using oncologychannel.
