I have been on a hormone blockade (lupron casodex) f months. I had a prostetectomy one month ago achieved clear margins re no lymph node involvement. Because my tumor had a gleason score of 8, my surgeon my oncologist recommend I remain on blockade have a cse of radiation after 90 days recovery from surgery. y suggest I remain on blockade two months beyond radiation treatment. re problems bone density loss from 10 months of hormone blockade? I bike, swim, run lift weights regularly. I am 62 years old.
