My father in laws storyMy father in law was diagnosed with prostrate cancer over 20 years ago. He had radiation therapy done, which put him in remission, or so we thought. When it came back over 7 years ago he started taking hormone shots, which kept the cancer at bay until now. That he is able to function in his everyday life. If his cancer is very advance, I would focus on making sure that he has the lease pain as possible and spend the best moments he can with his love ones' and doing what is like . (Like my father he love to fish) Do everything that you have to for his illness, but don't let the illness define who he is or what he can do.
