Give Them Support and ComfortMy wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the 1st week of November 2007. The disease had already spread to other organs and the whipple operation was not an option at that time due to the agressiveness of the cancer and the areas for which it had spread. All we could do is give her comfort and watch as the cancer took her life. 21 February, 2008 she passed away only 3 months after she was diagnosed. Re: Give Them Support and ComfortHi, I am so sorry to hear about your wife. My brother just passed away from pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed only 2 weeks prior. We are devastated. I agree with your comments about, what is going on and why there seems to be an epidemic. Doesn't seem like enough research is being done to diagnose early. I can't find out what sent people to the doctor in the first place. My brother suddenly had a difficult time digesting food and couldn't keep food down. No pain and an endoscopy showed everything was fine.......NOT ! Symptoms continued and the cat scan showed everything !!!!! Why are there no symptoms. Hope each day brings you more peace. Thanks for any info.
