Ovarian Cancer

I have had bowel changes( contipation and severe diarreah) urinary changes( increased frequency and can't get to the bathroom in time), sharp pelvic pain, crampy abdominal pain, serious lower back pain, low energy for several months. Went to gyn for pain. Did vaginal ultrasound. They found a blood filled cyst on my ovary and several fibroids in my uterus. They said neither should be causing my pain. I am very concerned about the cyst because of the other symptoms that I am experiencing. They want me to WAIT to see what happens with the cyst. They do not want to do a C125 because of the fibroids in my utereus...giving false high reading. Am I overreacting or should I be pushing for more information about this cyst now? The gyn says that my symptoms are not indicative of ov cancer but everything I have seen says otherwise. I do not nee a referral for a specialist...should I contact a gyn oncologist or am I jumping the gun? I have heard many stories of women that were not taken seriously until their cancer progressed too far. I need an objective opinion.

An ovarian cyst filled with blood can cause abdominal pain on the side the cyst is on. It shouldn't cause your other symptoms and is not an indicator of cancer. If you are really concerned there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion, good luck
