Clear Cell CarcinomaHello-
My name is Jennifer. I am 35 years old and just found out that I have clear cell carcinoma. I had a 10cm cyst on my left ovary that was causing me discomfort. When it was discovered, I opted to have the mass removed. They ended up doing a total hysterectomy I just got my lab results back. I have clear cell carcinoma- pelvic an bowel region. I will begin chemotherapy soon. I have no family history- so all of this has come as quite a shock. I have no clue what I am up against. Looking for any advise-people with similar stories who have gone through this???
Re: Clear Cell CarcinomaHi Jennifer,
I just joined this forum and your post is the most current on this site. A lot of them are a couple of years old. I'm just wondering how active is this site. I saw that no one had responded to your post yet and thought I get in touch. How are you doing? I was diagnosed with stage II ovarian cancer and had my ovaries removed. I had chemo once a month for six months...carboplatin and taxol. Have you had surgery? And if so will you be starting chemotherapy? If you have any questions or anything that you want to talk about that I could help you with, I'd be glad to. I hope I hear back from you...soon. Take care, Serengeti
