Ovarian cancer after 18 years without ovaries

I just had my first chemo treatment today for Stage IV ovarian cancer found in my uterus, three lymph nodes and lining.
(Let me back track:I had an oophorectomy, removal of ovaries, 18 years ago when I had Stage IV cervical cancer. [Hey with odds like these I should play the lottery!]A cone biopsy removed most of my cervix, but my uterus was left intact to deposit radium pellets at monthly intervals for a total of three sessions; four months of external radiation was also done.)

I also have had ovarian cancer but I had OVARIES! I don't mean to sound ignorant but how can you have 'ovarian' cancer in your uterus? Did you have your uterus removed before you started chemo?
How are you doing? I hope you're handling it well. God bless you and help you heal.
