living with it alone

I survived, overcame..alone. I care for my family, as I am a very young single mother who was diagnosed at a very young age. No one should go it alone. It is a struggle for life, it costs you more than self image, self-preservation..It costs you precious time if you do not share your pain, your saddness, your worries. I could not bend the ears of my family, for they had their own hardships..Find support whereever it may be..For it could be the difference between life and well, death....Read the full article

Hi

I just want you to know that you are never alone. I am so glad that you were able to overcome cancer. So many others are going or have gone through the same thing as you. My Aunt was diagnosed 4 years ago with stage 4. Since that time the cancer has returned but she has always worn a smile on her face and has always reached out to others going through the same struggle. She always figured that so many others were far worse off than her. I wondered if you had a Gilda's Club nearby. From what I hear they provide so much support and it is there for everyone and it doesn't cost anything. It was started in memory of comedian Gilda Radner who died of ovarian cancer. She wanted people to have somewhere, because nobody should have to be alone.

For my Aunt, attitude and God have played a huge roll in how she has gotten through this illness. It sounds like you are a very strong person too but I am sorry that you had to endure so much on your own. I just wanted you to know that I care what you went through and what you are still going through. I will praying for you and for healing.

God bless you!

Shannon
