Unexpected punch biopsy of tongue

Though I’ve had a painful area on the side of my tongue near my back molar, I thought I may have bitten it when I first had a new filling redone near that molar a few months ago so I didn’t think about it a lot. I did mention it to my GP this week to have her take a look at the spot since it hadn’t healed. I had cancer base of tongue - also a big surprise as I do not drink or smoke.
I'm OK now. I;'m 6 months post radiation treatment - brutal and barbaric but it saved my life.
How are you? How did the biopsy come out and how did you do?
