Symptoms- Itchy Skin

Post a new topicby Cassandrasilvasusco on Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:43 pm

Hi,
My husband has NHL and right now we are waiting in two weeks new scans. I am concerned because he has in the past few weeks become extremely itchy on his ankles and feet. I saw the symptoms on this site and it did raise my concerns more seeing that it may mean he is still with active "bad cells"
Any insight??

I was recently diagnosed, had my spleen removed, and now in my 2nd cycle of a 6-cycle R-CHOP chemo. Occasionally, I get this, and I get it all over. that feeling of itchiness, then the more you scratch, the more it gets itchy. Especially in the legs and the butt (pardon me). I think it's all part of the drugs in our bodies. I actually feel the drugs and cells fighting in different parts of my body: my abdomen twitches and jabs with pain, my back, the bones, and under the scalp just before hair loss. Call it funny but I try and listen to my body and think positive. Listen, this is a tough fight; maybe the toughest one in our lives but tell your husband to hang in there and be strong. And thank God for wives like you and mine. My wife has been a rock through all this. She gives a nice back scratch too! : )
