follicular lymphoma. is three times the charm

Post a new topicby docepak on Sun Jan 11, 2009 4:57 am

i was diagnosised with stage 3 NHL (follicular) in may 07 with a tumor 18cm by 14cm in my stomach. its no wonder the situps wern't working...along with a 3.5 cm by 4cm tumor. had various nodes in my stomach and chest also affected. I didnt even want to hear about watch and wait! I received six cycles of R-CVP then radiation. It knocked it down to 7cm by 4 cm. but it didnt get rid of it all. rituxan maintenance was no help. In February 08 i received 6 cycles of R-CHOP. I had trouble with passing out so it was stopped. Now in January 09 its growing bigger as I have a few quarter size lumps in my left groin area. watch and wait sound pretty good after two treatments but the lumps are getting bigger. starting to get tired again, with night sweats, abdominal pain and shortness of breath back. Don't want to go through this again but does anyone out there know what the next cycle of treatment i have to look forward too might be. Thanks for listening.
