Enlarged lymph nodes

Post a new topicby notme78 on Thu Jun 26, 2008 5:32 pm

I have a question and hoepfully someone will be able to answer. I had a CT scan done last week due to fever, chills and low back pain, thinking I had a kidney stone/kidney infection. Fever only lasted one night. Everything urological came back negative. On the CT scan it did show mild to moderate intrabdominal, retroperitoneal, right lower quandrant mesentric lymphadenopathy. I am not sure if this is any relevance but I also had a peripherial smear that showed atypical lymphocytes. I am scheduled for a PET scan next week. I feel completely fine. What does all this mean??? Has anyone had these symptoms?
