I’m a Survivor !I was diagnosed with NHL in August 2005. I found a lump in my neck. My family doc told me it wasn’t cancer just a thyroid problem. The specialist he sent me to immediately knew what it was, I thank God for placing this man in my path. By then it had also spread to my stomach. Re: I’m a Survivor !Wouldn't a simple blood test show something that would lead a doctor to NHL? I have had several symptoms but no one seems to be listening to me and blood work looks "fine" according to the doctors. Should I keep pushing or answers or would it show up somehow in the blood work?
Re: I'm a Survivor !In response to AHHH's question: I had blood tests twice and the doctors said everything looked fine. I had lymphoma though. Don't trust a blood test as being proof that you don't have it. The biopsy that was done on one of my lumps is how they determined I had cancer.
