SKin discoloration from chemical peelers

Help! I had dark pigmentation in my underarms and used chemical peelers NeoStrata Gel plus and another kind. At first the dark skin started peeling but after a week, the whole area became really red and then became darker than it was!!It is so ugly that i have been so depressed. What can I do now in this case?
