Lung Nodule - Biopsy tomorrow - Scared!Hi -
I am having a needle biopsy of a lung nodule tomorrow morning. I have smoked for 32 years. I am wondering if anyone else has done this and what happens afterwards? I am scared stiff. I have a 10 year old son and I am a widow! I keep telling myself not to worry yet, but I am worried. Will they take it out? How will they know if it has spread? My bones hurt...could it have gone to my bones? If they take it out will I have to have chemo and radiation? I am all alone! Help!
Re: Lung Nodule - Biopsy tomorrow - Scared!I am wondering how your test turned out. I am all alone and 67 years old. I was just told yesterday that I have several calcified nodules and they are scheduling me for a CT. I have smoked for 50 years and have tried so hard to quit but seem to be so helpless in my effortless. Like you, I am so scared.
Re: Lung Nodule - Biopsy tomorrow - Scared! How are you all doing? Any results yet? I have a sister in law with lung cancer that has met to brain, but she won't talk to me, or anyone really. I have since learned she is losing or has lost her hair, so I believe she is recieving full head radiation and chest radiation, but other than that, I have no clue.
I know that most of the time, lumps~nodules found are not cancerous so keep your chins up. There are a lot of different things they can be, so be positive, think positive and you can tackle anything that comes your way! Prayers to all of you, and God bless! Karin
