Inhalation of Diesel Exhaust

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jan 27, 2004 10:24 am

I am exposed daily to diesel exhaust at work. I work in the outside garden department at Home Depot and 40 feet from our chain link fence the Capital Metro Buses have a layover all day. This means we associates that work out in this environment are exposed to diesel emissions on a daily basis. I have contacted OSHA and they are going to monitor the exposure to see if they are within their standards. If the results are within their standards is the possibility of contacting upper respitory or lung cancer after long term exposure still a factor?
