Waiting on ResultsI’m a 29 y.o mother of 3 young kids. I’ve smoked for 13 years. During a CT scan last week they discovered 2 nodules on my lungs. One is 1/4 of an inch and the other is a lil bigger than that. I went in yesterday for a Chest CT scan. This has been the toughest thing in my life. Re: Waiting on ResultsI am so sorry to hear what you are going through. My sister was found to have 2 nodules on her lung and she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Unlike you she did not quit smoking. I think you are doing everything you can at the moment and I hope you have good news to share with us. It does matter that you quit and I am proud of you. There is hope and try and keep your spirits up. I pray that you don't have cancer.
Re: Waiting on ResultsMy mom found out in october that she has lung cancer i wrote the post an angel named jeannie. It is a hard thing to hear that someone you love has cancer. Her tumor (the one on her lung ) is 5cm and she has several more in her lympth nodes.Today was the half way mark on her treatment (chemo and radiation) and they done a ct scan and we will find out tomarrow if there is any progeress. My mom smoked for years and she quit probably ten years or more ago.So smokeing at all puts you at risk no matter when you quit so those of you who never started please dont. I pray that you dont have cancer but if you do just keep hope and faith in your heart and never stop fighting. God bless you and your babys you will be in my prayers.
