MY HUSBAND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER THAT SPREAD TO THE BRAIN.. HE HAS HAD 16 RADIATION TREATMENTS AND 1 CHEMO.. VERY DEPRESSED BECAUSE HE CAN'T DO THE THINGS HE USED TO DO... DO WE WANT A QUANTITY OF TIME OR QUALITY OF TIME.. HE IS NOW ON OXYGEN ALMOST ALL THE TIME... YESTERDAY HE HAD A BONE SCAN WE ARE WAITING FOR THE RESULTS ON THAT... WHEN MY MOTHER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH OVARIAN CANCER I ASKED THE DR IF WE START CHEMO WILL SHE BE ABLE TO GO TO THE STORE OR TO CHURCH, HE SAID NO.. SO WE CHOSE NOT TO PUT HER THRU CHEMO... SHE PASSED AWAY 2 MONTHS LATER.. WITH MY HUSBAND THE DR SAID WITHOUT CHEMO HE WOULD BE GONE IN 2 MONTHS.. BUT HES SUFFERING NOW IN MANY OTHER WAYS.. HONOR YOUR MOTHERS WISH... PATTIE
