Lung Cancer

Hello, my Mother was just diagnosed this week. She has stage 4 small cell lung cancer We are waiting on a CT of the brain to see if it has spread there. She started chemo yesterday and she will receive two more rounds and then start radiation therapy.
It all came so suddenly I mean she has not been well but never in a million years would I have thought it to be this bad. She quit smoking about 7 months now and it kills me that so ironically too late.
I will write with any change next week.

Same here - my Mother too has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. To say the least, it is devastating. Just wondering - what treatment protocol is being followed in her case?
