Hi. I am 31 years old and have been having strange symptoms for the last couple of months. For 2 months or so, I have had severe fatigue..no amount of rest helps. Even when I am driving I feel like I might fall asleep sometimes. I have noticed that it is easier for me to catch viruses and such when my kids bring them home from school..also harder to get rid of now. For the last couple of weeks or so, I have been getting pains in my bones and also more frequent headaches. I do have migraines but these are different. I went to my doctor recently and he did a cbc... he said the hemoglobin was a bit low, but he didn't say anything else...just that he wants me to come in for more tests. I have recovered from cervical cancer years ago, but I never had these symptoms with that...completely different. Can anybody tell me if this could be maybe another form of cancer or something??? Hi Azrael. I am sorry that you have not been feeling well. I am 57 and was diagnosed with CLL in June of this year. I, too had a CBC which showed elevated white cells. I then had an "immunophenotyping" blood test which confirmed CLL. I don't think that you should worry about cancer, as your CBC would have shown this. Fatigue can be caused by so many things. Have you been given iron? Your Dr. probably wants you to have more tests because he doesn't know what the problem is. Try to stop worrying, have the tests and hopefully you will be fine. Having had cancer before, you already have great strength. Good Luck
