I HAVE HAD ELEVATED PLATELETS FOR SEVERAL YEARS RANGING FROM 400 TO 580 ON MY CBC TESTING. SHOULD I CHECK THIS OUT. THE LAST TEST WAS 580 PLTS ON DECEMBER 4TH, 2001. I AM NOT SURE WHO TO SEE ABOUT THIS OR WHAT TO ASK. I AM 35 YO. JOANNE

You could see a Hematologist for an evaluation. Consistently elevated
platelets may be the first signs of a developing myeloproliferative
syndrome. Thank you for using oncologychannel and good luck.
