Needing help

Post a new topicby vonee on Fri May 30, 2008 5:14 am

Hi
I am a kidney cancer survivor at this time and hopefully am over it.
However, this evening, I received a call from my 33 year old daughter who has anaemia. I do not know what the counts mean in US but here in OZ between 50 and 150 is normal. She had 10. She has lost 10 kg in the last 2 months and is very tired and striving to work. She is having blood tests because the doctor suspects internal bleeding. She does not have heavy periods . I am really concerned that she is sick. Can someone please tell me whether or not this suggests a problem?
I have been there she has not - I do not want my past to impact on her yet I would like to know if I should be prepared.
thanks

vonee
