Leukemia

My Friend has got a form of Leukaemia called HGL. Apparently He has had it for about 5 years. He does not need any treatment for it and says he feels fine but just got to be careful when travelling abroad etc. He says he doesnt know that much about it and cant find much info online. So I thought I'd try and find out a little bit more for him. Such as .. Does anyone know if there is anything he can do/ shouldnt do ,take, etc to help this condition, and what can he expect his quality of health to be like?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
