Diagnosis

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Apr 08, 2002 11:03 pm

Recently, I went for a general medical check up whereby the doctor took my urine sample.

I was surprised that from the urine sample, the doctor told me I have a high
white blood count. I didn't beleive him, nor do I went for a second opinion.

Can white blood count be checked through urine sample ?

White cells can be found in the urine for many different reasons
including urine infections; the white cell count in the urine does not
correlate with the levels found in the blood. Thank you for using
oncologychannel and good luck.
