Leukemia

I took my son to the doctor because he is tired all the time and pale looking. The doctor did some blood work and everything came back normal. She said he was probably just going through a growth spurt. After googling, i came across symptoms of leukemia and he has most of them. He is tired, pale looking, has leg pains quite frequently(which i always assumed is just growing pains) and he has had a few nose bleeds in the last couple of weeks. He is also always getting sick.

My question is, is it possible for his blood results to be normal and he could still possibly have leukemia? Thank you for your help.
