Hello,
My name is Lewis and I have CML. My Chronic Myloid Leukemia was diagnosed by my surgeon at Duke University in August 2002. I was at Duke, where I had several midgut Metastatic Carcinoid tumors removed several weeks before and was back to hear my surgeon review his notes. The surgeon was near the end of his notes when he looked up and said very calmly, “by the way, your white count is over 650,000. Hi Lewis,,,,,Im steve im glad your doing well as i have been just diagnosed recently with CML and they have me on gleevec at the moment.....it gives me hope knowing your doing well and i wish you all the best
