Alcohol induced pain

Post a new topicby dunbark on Fri Feb 20, 2009 6:03 pm

Hi, I don't know if I am just being paranoid or not. I am a 42 year old female. Once in a while, when I drink any kind of alcohol, after the first couple of sips I get an awful pain in my right shoulder then it moves into my neck and chest. I get nauseated and feel as though I am going to pass out. I have passed out once from this. It only lasts about 20-30 minutes and it is over and I feel fine. Sometimes this happens when I drink and sometimes it doesn't. It is however, getting more frequent. I looked at some other sites and they have linked it with hodgkins. I have had mono, reoccuring shingles on my neck. Anybody heard of this happening to anyone else?
