Hi Crystal,

All i can say is wow!
I had HD 17 yrs ago and still live in fear of getting another form of cancer.
I have a daughter who had just turned 11 and the thought of dying and leaving her terrifies me.I know she has her dad, but a girl needs her mum. I cry myself to sleep some nights just thinking 'what if...'.
I'm very high risk of breast cancer due to the radiation i had and my birth mother also had BC so that increases it further.I've an underactive thyroid also and that scares me incase it turns to thyroid cancer.How would i know?Would the doc's know from my annual bloods??
Having read peoples stories it makes me realise i'm not out of the woods yet-even sfter 17 yrs.
I try and stay positive and i know i'm being well looked after by the hospital and well screened but i find it so hard.My husband and i have been together since we were 15 and he watched me go through cancer before.He's very grounded and positive which does help me alot.He understands why i feel this way and i think he's been very patient with me over the last 17 yrs!I'm sure some partners could onlt take so many tears then tell them to stop being mardy but he's never said that.He's one in a million!
