hello, im a new user to this forum and have just had surgery for removal of my submandibular gland and was wondering whether anyone else had experience in this surgery to share comments. thank you,star 989

Hi, what kind of cancer did you have? I have Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma. Mine was int he minor glands in the roof of my mouth though. So no, I didn't have the same surgery you did. I just joined this post today in search of anything that had to do with the SUBMANDIBULAR gland..I have just found out I have a tumor growing on it and just had 2 tissue biopsy's today..Because I am experiencing pain, and the fast changes in growth, I have more of a chance of this tumor being malignant...It would be great if you could please send me any info from what you have gone through
