Gastric Cancer

My mom is in the hospital right now with several signs pointing to stomach cancer. The doctors have done an endoscopy and have told us she has a baseball size mass at the bottom of her stomach and it has invaded her stomach wall and part of her colon. She has had blood loss and cannot hold food down. A biopsy was done and the findings came back as not cancer but the doctor could not get deep enough into the mass to get a biopsy sample. My father in law was diagnosed with Esophageal and Stomach cancer last June 2007. It has been rough but I would suggest you investigate as many avenues as possible. If you are interested go to our website and check out the links. ECAA in particular. My fathe rin law was diagnosed with stage IV but he is still with us and doing OK. Hang in there.
