I just finished my 6th and last chemo. I had Stage 3 Grade 2. I would do all 6 treatments because that if that is what Doctors recommend then you have not taken the other 5 treatments in vain. Did you have to do Radiation? I will be doing both external beam and vaginal cuff radiation.

Hello Beth,
I too was diagnosed with Stage IIIc endometrial carcinoma in 2006 and had a radical hysterectomy in April of that year. I also had one positive lymph node out of twenty plus which were dissected. It was found in the pelvic region. My gynecologic oncologist recommended I have radiation after my surgery and the tissues healed. I had two courses of external beam and one course of internal radiation to the vaginal cuff. He along with my radiation oncologist and the others at the cancer institute in Florida where I received treatment, advised me that they were not recommending chemotherapy at that time. Needless to say, it was a rather frightening experience. But I'm still here 2 years and 8 months later with no apparent recurrence thus far.

Wishing you the very best.
