As I read these stories I want to scream and cry at the same time! I am a Registered Nurse with tons of education and experience….but was never educated on young women getting this cancer! I had been through a very tough year prior to being diagnosed. I had some legal issues which after 9 months I won but was very run down. I was just diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer, just today! I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure about 2, 3 years ago and had gone into menopause. While it's rare for someone my age (38), I'm fighting this to the fullest!! My gyn/oncologist has recommended a hysterectomy. I can't have kids anyway, so I'm not concerned with losing my female reproductive organs. When I have surgery, they will look at my uterus and I hope the cancer has not ventured into the walls of the uterus because then they will have to check my lymph nodes etc. Did you say that your cancer returned? I'm staying positive and hopeful that everything will be alright me with me and the pathology reports from the hysterectomy will be okay. I go in for surgery in about 3 weeks.

Thanks for sharing your story.
