Seeking answers to a possible discovery....Here's a story I'd like to share...and we're trying to find answers:
In July 2009, my father had been diagnosed with cancer (at a very early stage). The doctor found the tumor in his rectum (colorectal cancer). He went through radiation and chemo simultaneously for about 6 weeks (from September till mid-October), and he was told that he will be needing surgery 2 months after that. Except my father refuses having the surgery (for many inconvenient reasons). Radiation/chemo ended the second week of October. About 4 weeks later, my father went to get a second opinion at Sloan Kettering. There they checked him and noticed the tumor is reacting well to the radiation (I think they said it reduced in size) and it moved up a bit, making it easier for the surgical procedure, if that will be the option. Well, SK highly recommended the surgery but my father did not like the idea one bit. I believe that same week, my father noticed something (my apologies for the descriptions). He happened to check his stool, and found something extremely odd in it: a small red round-shaped, very symmetrical, smooth looking-like "pill" the size of a thumb's nail (not thumbnail)- which is the only way I can describe it. Nothing changed in his diet which is why he found this to be very very unusual. My mom decided they should take that "pill" to the hospital immediately to run tests. They went to the hospital, brought over the "pill", leaving it whole (because apparently my parents said it wouldnt break - the shell was so hard that a knife couldnt cut through it.) Later that afternoon, they got a call from the lab saying "no blood was found in the sample." But they never checked what that red "pill" was; they only ran a stool test to make sure no blood was found. Early December, my father noticed that everyday, at least one "pill" was found in his stool. This time, my mom tried breaking one of the pills because she wanted to see what was inside, if anything. She took a hammer and broke it and inside it she found this reddish/orange shade of "jelly" looking texture. They called up his doctor again, asking for some kind of referral to run tests at a different lab, and he said they dont check for "foreign" samples or something like that. Only blood, urine, the usual tests. So my parents tried contacting their homeopathic doc because she said there's a lab in Atlanta that might be able to run tests. Turns out, no luck with that either. My mother got in touch with the Chief of Pathology at that hospital, (where my father had his radiation/chemo therapies) and the Chief said they do not run those tests. Last week, my father had a follow up with the doctor that diagnosed him. He manually checked him (unfortunately he didn't have the proper equipment to really see what's inside), but according to his analysis, he thinks the tumor reduced in size by 75%. Again, the doctor told him that he recommends the surgery, and that he must consider doing it this month, because by next month it could be risky and the cells could spread elsewhere. After he spoke to him, my father showed him his "discovery" of these red "pills", and the doctor, without noticing the doctor said that "it's just a pill". We explained the situation to him in detail, and the doctor had a closer look and noticed that there is a tiny hole in each one. He had never seen anything like it. So he said that he will personally bring those samples to pathology at the hospital he works with. Recent updates (as of today): We got lab results from a different doctor (not the one who diagnosed my father)....apparently, he said it's "foreign" object. Last night, we got the lab results from the doctor that DID diagnose my father...he also confirmed it's a "foreign body". Two different labs, one same result. And still no further examination as to WHAT those "pills" are. They are obviously not regular vitamins or supplements that one would swallow - it's very logical that a vitamin pill would be broken down in stomach acid, right? Impossible that it would come out whole. Plus, there's a tiny hole in each one. We're trying to find out what this is. No doctor has an answer, no doctor has ever seen this before. Why is this happening? Has this happened to anyone in this forum? Would you know what those red pills are? And why are they formed symmetrically the same shape, EVERY TIME?? My theory is that the tumor is coming out, little by little, pill by pill. That's my wishful thinking. Looking forward to hearing from everyone here! Thanks! -Alternative Believer
