reaction to ct scan dye

Post a new topicby Guest on Wed Apr 17, 2002 3:33 pm

Wow, I just asked my first question a few minutes ago and it has already been answered. I wanted to also ask, if you felt that with the reaction I experienced if it could leave my hands and feet with a intermitent tingling and numbing sensation? I had this since the scan and cannot think of anything else that would have attributed to it. I quess you didn't have a name for the initial reaction I had of contortion of hands and feet and veins swelling?
Thank you so much! I have receive more info from you than I have from my hospital in the last month.

I suppose that the sensations in your hands and feet are to be expected after having a reaction to contrast. Those symptoms should subside in a day or two. If not, get in touch with your doctor.
