PCI: prophylactic cranial irradiation

I am a 56 yo. male who just completed chemotherapy and radiation therapy and the dicussion of PCI has come up. I am wondering what the benefits and risk factors are, as well as information/discussion groups that might help with information and feedback. Thank you.
