everyday since i dx by same pcp my cancer by routine digital exam in june31 1997 bors me:i went to same dr in feb1995 after digitalexam he told me :doc,ihve to refer colonoscopy"i ,being a pathologist,smilingly asked him "dont want to do occult blood,idont hve familyhx!"he didnt explain he foundetc.he just asked his nurse to take c of occult blood.once it done,neg.i didnt follow,he didnt follow.iwent to him 2or 3 times diabetes flu like illness. injuly1997 he did rectal exam tumor palpable.everyday ithink he should hve treated me like a patient infeb1995,instead of treating me like adoc listenedtome.please helpme it is not my fault? it happened tome?it would hve been just apolypn.now iam stage4.

The responsibility of care rests with both the physician and the patient therefore I would tend to say that the situation is not one person or anothers fault but a failure of the system.
