colon problem?

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Jan 11, 2002 11:05 pm

For several weeks I have been experiencing problems with my stomach. Sometimes I feel discomfurt(not pain) in my abdomen, I feel full even if I did not eat. (Its like a tightness in the middle of my stomach). I also have al lot of gas and want to burp a lot. Rarely I feel like I want to vomit.

The symptoms stay for 2 weeks and leave for one and then starts again.

Is it to much stress, or colon problem or stomach problem?

I do not have blood in my stools or urine.

Just found this site, let me begin by saying i too have the excat same symptoms. A mass was found on my pancreas by way of the E U S procedure, and also the octeoscan. No surgery yet as I am trying to decide where to go as it is limited on where you can go if you have pancreas cancer.......Also im having the endoscopy of the stomach and colonopscopy Monday to make sure no cancer is in there , havent had one in 2 years don't know.
I am post. for thyroid cancer had a thyroidectomy 2 years ago.....

I would go get your Lipase blood drawn first and then a octeoscan in nuclear medicne dept to make sure your pancreas is ok.....

draw blood for the c peptidies and glucagon also......hope this helps

What is this awful feeling of being bloated in the mid part of stomach, the gas, the fullness when you eat little, because I have the same problem you do.

Hope a doc. finds out quick where the problem is...

I cannot tell you what the symptoms you have are from. I would suggest
however that you see a physician if you have concerns so appropriate
examination can be performed. Thank you for using oncologychannel and good
luck.
