Bowel obstruction/cancer

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Jan 14, 2002 9:36 pm

My freind is a 26 year old female who has been given six months to live. She has had Chemotherpy before and three surguries, the doctors do not want to operate anymore because of scar tissue in her intestin, and because she dose not accept blood. She is very small and her body cannot take chemotherapy although the doctor's suggest such. She is not giving up but will not undergo the chemo again, what in the world could possibly be another alternative????

Unfortunately, I know of no reliable alternative therapies for recurrent
metastatic cancer. I would suggest that she concentrate on maintaining her
quality of life and enjoy every day. Thank you for using oncologychannel and
we wish her the best of luck in her fight.
