I have been diagnosed with appendiceal Carcinoid with both carcinoid and adenocarcinoma in 3 of 14 lymph nodes removed. No trace of either in lining around the colon resection Tumor 1.5 cm, (found during routine colonoscopy.) The information I find is all over the board. Can you tell in your opinion if 5FU/leukovorin is helpful for this.

Although 5FU/leukovorin is not very active in carcinoid it is very useful in the treatment of colonic adenocarcinoma. Thank you for using oncologychannel and good luck.
