48 hours of chemo?

Post a new topicby Diana&Jack on Sat Jul 12, 2008 5:34 pm

My friend is now being treated for stage 4 colon cancer. He is now getting chemo for 48 hours, once every two weeks. I don't know very much about chemo Is this unusual? My friend is 67 and he had a tumor removed from his colon that had cancer. Also 14 inches were taken of the colon. The cancer had spread. He was found to have 26 cancer cells on his liver, and a cancer lymph node in his abdomen.
thanks for the help to understand...
