In February 2009, my sisters husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, sadly his doctor misdiagnosed his condition in January as Hemorrhoids, as he was bleeding from the bowel. Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law's condition. My dad's just found out (mid Sept 09) he's in a very similar position with stage 4 colorectal cancer. The cancer's metastized into the liver covering both lobes, making a resection redundant.

Do update on your brother-in-law's condition & all the best with the alternative therapy.
