Colorectal Cancer

My husband, Frank, was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer in May of 2005. He had a hemicolectomy in June of ‘05. The Dr.’s did not think he needed chemotherapy, since their research indicated that 95% of patients with stage 1 colon cancer did not need chemo after surgery. 2006 was a good year with clean CT/PET scans, but in December of 2006 it was discovered that his cancer had metastasized to his liver.
