Re: Colorectal cancerThank you for sharing. I'm 52 and just had surgery. Chemo to begin in 3 weeks and I'm scared to death. I don't know what to expect. I have two teenage daughters and a husband at home. I've been "supermom" until now. I need to know that I'm strong enough to get through these next few months. Again, thanks for sharing!
Re: Colorectal cancerThank you for your message of hope. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 47, underwent surgery and was told in Dec 08 that all was good, just to do yearly follow ups. On 3 Mar 09, at the age of 49 he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, which was found during an emergency surgery. He will begin Chemo treatments starting next week. We have vowed to fight this and do whatever is necessary, but the scary part is not knowing how the Chemo will affect him.
