I had submited a question July 26 re: trying to get preg after taking chemo I am not sure if maybe I did not send it correctly, I have not gotten a reply

Thank you for your question. In general pregnancy after chemotherapy is dependent upon the type of chemo given and the age of the patient. the younger the patient the more likely the ovaries will begin working again. Patients over the age of 25-30 usually do not have return of ovarian function after chemotherapy. There is no data to suggest that babies conceived after chemotherapy have any increased risk. thank you for using oncologychannel.
