My Aunt has lung cancer is receiving chemorapy. My family has heard re is a drug available to give cancer patients more energy. Have heard of drug if so side affects? Thanks

The drug you may be referring to is procrit a drug used to increase the hemoglobin levels in patients who are anemic. However, unless the patient meets certain eligibility requirements the drug cannot be used. I would suggest speaking with the physician and seeing if she may be eligible for use of the drug.
