My husband has esophageal cancer, and had the Ivor Lewis pullup in July. He started chemo, after surgery, in Sept., and is on Taxol and Carboplatinum. The last few weeks I have noticed his breasts are beginning to enlarge. He had radiation and chemo prior to surgery, and I have read where exposure to radiation can cause male breast cancer Does anyone have any ideas on this, or could it be a side effect of the current chemo protocol?
